Hapvee Content and Monetisation Policies
We offer features and products that help creators earn more from their content. This content has to follow certain rules. All content on Hapvee must comply with our Terms and Conditions for Creators, Hapvee Community Guidelines and the following Hapvee Content and Monetisation Policies.
These are our high-level rules against any content that doesn’t align with our aim to facilitate users to find, plan, shop and cook 100% plant-based recipes and access personalised nutrition.
While applying as a Creator you agree to adhere to our Content Monetisation Policies. Your content itself must follow these guidelines in order to be published on Hapvee and for you to participate in any Hapvee Incentive Program. If your video complies with our Content Monetisation Policies and all our Terms, you will be able to publish it and monetise it as explained in our Terms and Conditions for Creators.
Prohibited formats
Content presented in the following formats cannot be published or monetised:
- Static videos Content that contains one static image and little to no motion.
- Static image polls Content posted for the sole purpose of increasing engagement by asking people to react to prompts or questions posed by the content.
- Slideshows of images Content that primarily displays static images played in succession.
- Looping videos Content that loops and displays the same segment multiple times. Looping content can include GIFs and content of varying lengths.
- Text montages Content that primarily displays still or moving images with overlaid text.
- Embedded ads Content that includes embedded ads whether for your personal gains or for a third party.
Content including the following behaviours cannot be published or monetised:
- Engagement bait Content that incentivises people to click or visit a link or engage in a specific way with content.
The following types of content are ineligible to be published or monetised:
- Misinformation Content that contains misleading claims, or content that has been rated false by a third-party fact-checker.
- Misleading medical information Content that contains medical or health claims that have been disproven by an expert organisation. Or content that contains health claims which have not been proven by an expert health organisation.
- Unoriginal content Content creators can only publish and monetise content that they created or were involved in the creation of, or that directly features the creator or publisher. Content that is unoriginal or reproduced without making meaningful enhancements (eg. substantially changing a recipe) cannot be published or monetised.
Content that depicts or discusses subjects unrelated to the intent of Hapvee will be deleted:
All content on Hapvee should be directly related to our aim to facilitate users to find, plan, shop and cook 100% plant-based recipes and access personalised nutrition. The following content categories will not be allowed:
- Debated social issues Content that depicts or discusses the following subjects in a polarising or inflammatory manner:
- Race
- Gender
- National origin
- Age
- Political affiliation
- Ethnicity
- Disability
- Sexual orientation
- Socioeconomic class
- Religion
- Immigration
- Tragedy or conflict Content that displays or discusses events that result in suffering, destruction or distress. Depictions or discussions of these subjects, either real or fictional, may affect your content:
- Death
- Physical injury
- Mental disabilities
- Illness
- Physical abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Emotional abuse
- Property damage
- Unrelated content Depictions or discussions of these subjects, either real or fictional, will be deleted:
- Substance abuse
- Threats
- Advocating for harm
- Trafficking
- Theft
- Vandalism
- Trespassing
- Corruption
- Fraud
- Bribery
- Insider trading
- Embezzlement
- Hacking
- Copyright infringement
- Judicial proceedings
- Sexual or suggestive activity Depictions or discussions of these subjects, either real or fictional, will be deleted:
- Nudity
- Sexual activity
- Sexual poses
- Suggestive dancing
- Simulations of sexual activity
- Sex objects
- Suggestive language
- Revealing or absent items of clothing
- Strong language Content may deleted if it contains profane or derogatory language.
- Profanity
- Derogatory words
- Slurs
- Sexual words
- Innuendos
- Crude gestures
- Vulgar motions
- Explicit content Depictions of these subjects, either real or fictional, will be deleted.
- Wounds
- Infections
- Bodily fluids
- Medical procedures
- Food processing
- Extreme body modification
- Bodily functions
- Ingesting substances not intended for consumption
- Ingesting nauseating substances
- Decay
- Infestation
